Our stay at Sagres Sun Stay - Surf Camp & Hostel was fantastic. The facilities were modern and clean, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. We loved having access to a pool and a restaurant area for breakfast and lunch. The eco-friendly rules and central location were definite highlights. we highly recommend this hostel for a short stay.
One drawback we experienced was the lack of a common area to socialize and meet other guests. However, with the hostel being busy with surfers, it still had a vibrant atmosphere.

The facilities at this hostel were new and clean, creating a pleasant atmosphere during my stay. The hostel staff offered a welcoming drink upon arrival, which was a nice touch.- The kitchen was spacious enough to accommodate multiple guests at once, making it convenient for cooking and socializing.
One downside of my experience was the lack of a comfortable lounge area where guests could relax, read, and chat. While there was a bar on-site, it didn't provide the same cozy atmosphere as a dedicated lounge space.

This hostel is a great place for young families looking to try water sports like surf and windsurf. the staff is very friendly and the premises are brand new with great decor. the bar/restaurant is a good place to relax after a day at the beach, and the swimming pool is a big plus. the rooms are nice and comfy, with capsule-style beds that offer privacy. it's a great value for money and I would definitely return.
The common kitchens could use stricter rules to keep the fridge more orderly.

As a tourist, I loved the modern facilities and well-equipped kitchen at Sagres Sun Stay. The central location, although on a main road, was convenient. The pool was a big plus, providing a relaxing place to chill during the day. The staff were extremely helpful and informative. I also enjoyed the daily yoga classes and other activities like surfing and free martial art classes. the hostel offered more than just a place to stay, giving me a surf camp feeling and opportunities to make connections with other guests.
Felt welcomed into the family, no complaints whatsoever.

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We even received a complimentary drink upon arrival, which was a lovely gesture. The common areas were spacious and beautifully decorated. The terrace and bar were particularly enjoyable, offering a wide selection of drinks and homemade food. We loved sipping on caipirinhas and soaking up the sun. The saltwater swimming pool was also a great addition.Location-wise, the hostel was conveniently situated within walking distance of the town center, restaurants, and supermarkets. It was also a brand new establishment, which added to its charm.
The breakfast lacked proper coffee options and the location was quite a long walk from both the city center and the beaches. We had to walk along a busy main road, which was a bit of a hassle.

The eco-friendly rules and modernity of Sagres Sun Stay made our stay enjoyable. the hostel had clean rooms with curtains for privacy and handy little boxes next to the pillow for personal belongings. We booked a surf lesson and had a fantastic experience with Jorge, the patient and passionate instructor. the hostel also had a lovely courtyard with a pool and illuminated at night, perfect for a refreshing swim. a great place to stay if you want a friendly and sustainable experience.
Felt like relaxing at home, no reason to complain.
